You can permanently delete your IPman VPN account and its associated data at any time. This page explains how to request deletion, what is removed, what we keep for a limited time, and how long the process takes.
How to delete your account
- From the app. Open the IPman app and go to Account → Delete account. Confirm the request and your account will be scheduled for deletion.
- By email. If you no longer have the app installed, email us from the address or with the account details you used at [email protected] with the subject “Delete my account”. We may ask you to confirm ownership of the account before we proceed.
What is deleted
- Your IPman account and subscription record.
- All paired devices and their authentication tokens.
- Your device pairing identifiers, device labels, and app/platform details.
- Your usage counters and order history associated with the account.
Once deletion completes, your devices can no longer connect using the removed account, and the data above is erased from our active systems.
What is retained, and for how long
A limited set of records may be kept for a short period after deletion where required for legal, security, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes — for example, payment and order receipts needed for financial record-keeping. These records are retained only as long as required and are then deleted. We do not keep a log of your browsing activity, and we do not retain your account to market to you.
How long it takes
Deletion requests are processed within approximately 30 days. In most cases the account and paired devices are removed sooner; the 30-day window covers backups and routine maintenance cycles.
