Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information the IPman VPN app and service (“IPman”, “we”, “us”) collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By pairing a device and using IPman, you agree to this policy.
Our approach to your traffic
IPman is a tool for reaching the open internet. We do not monitor, record, or sell the contents of your VPN traffic, the websites or apps you access, or your DNS queries routed through the tunnel. We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
Information we collect
- Account identity. IPman accounts are created and managed through Telegram. We associate your subscription with your Telegram user ID, and your Telegram first name / username when available, so we can deliver the plan you purchased.
- Device pairing data.When you pair a device we store a device identifier, a device label (e.g. “Android device”), the platform/OS, the app version, and an authentication token used to identify the device to our service.
- Subscription & usage counters. We record your plan, expiry date, and the total amount of bandwidth used against your quota. These totals are used to enforce your plan limits; they are not a log of what you did online.
- Operational metadata. To run the service securely and prevent abuse, our servers may process limited connection metadata (such as connection time and the server you connect to) for the minimum period needed to operate.
- Payments. Purchases are handled through Telegram and our order system. Where you submit payment confirmation, the related order information is stored to verify and fulfill your purchase. We do not store full card numbers.
Camera permission
The app may request camera access for the sole purpose of scanning a pairing QR code. Scanned images are processed on your device and are not stored or transmitted to us.
How we use information
- To authenticate your device and deliver your VPN subscription.
- To enforce plan quotas and expiry, and to show your usage.
- To operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.
- To process purchases and provide customer support.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers that make IPman work — for example our server/hosting providers and Telegram (for account identity and messaging). We may disclose information if required by law. We do not sell personal data.
Data retention & deletion
We keep account and subscription data for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account at any time from the app (Account → Delete account), which removes your IPman account and all paired devices. Some records may be retained briefly where required for legal, security, or accounting purposes.
Security
Authentication tokens and subscription credentials are stored in your device’s secure storage (Android Keystore / iOS Keychain) and are excluded from device backups. Traffic between the app and our servers uses encrypted connections.
Children
IPman is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
